EdFutures complements the Schome Initiative, which starts from the premise that to achieve the optimal education system for the 21st century you need to start with a clean sheet because the existing education system is too resilient and self-sustaining. The Education Futures Thematic Research Network is one of the main foci for researchers across The Open University. "The work of the network engages with the substantial challenges associated with learning for life in the 21st century." (quoted from its homepage). Unfortunately this site is currently only accessible to Open University folk.
