Hi Amelia, I am interested in technology and education, creativity and Inclusion mainly. I have recently been working for the OU on the C2Learn Project which finishes in October. I am currently looking into beginning a PhD next year which would focus on using the theory behind C2Learn to help disengaged students to create digital games for learning. I don't yet have a concrete question but will be working on it over summer. I am off on holiday tomorrow for 3 weeks but will try and check in again whilst I am away if I can to comment on the NP3 project etc. Thanks for the welcome!

Hi Hwren, great to hear about your interests. Mine also include engagement, specifically for children who are discriminated against in education on the basis of their ethnicity, social class and gender. My work has mainly been on pedagogy and it's role in creating inequalities as well as the role of teachers in developing more socially just pedagogies. I'm new to technology in education but am excited about the idea of pedagogies for technology contibuting to developing more socially just pedagogies by redressing the power imbalance between teachers and children and hopefully developing more engaging pedagogies for children who feel alienated in schools. Hope you have/had a lovely holiday - I'm off for the last two weeks in August but look forward to chatting to you later!

It would be interesting to know what the key findings from C2Learn are and how they might feed into our thinking on NP3.
