The Computer Practice Framework (CPF)[edit]

The CPF was developed by Peter Twining in the 1990s to support thinking about how digital technology might be used in education (see Twining 2002a, 2002b, 2004). At the time computers were the main focus of digital technology use in education, hence the name. In order to reflect changes in the available technology and the use of terminology, the CPF was updated in 2013 and renamed the Digital Technology Impact Framework.
