‘Context’, ‘arena’ and ‘setting’ are explored drawing on Lave (1988), Wenger (1998) and Rogoff (1985).
Other areas of the literature review in the Meta-analysis report focus on:

- aspects of ICT use including access, patterns and purposes of ICT use
- social justice issues, and
